To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It’s a great book for aspiring entrepreneurs. I’m giving it a four because I ordered the older version and received the newer one. I was told when I ordered it the original one was better.
I just re-read this book for the 2nd time. I appreciate how accessible and efficient it is. It was taken from a Stanford course Thiel taught but it doesn't read like most business books which are usually 300 pages overloading the same idea. This book is mostly a contrarian view of standard Silicon Valley wisdom. That alone, a dissenting view on well worn startup topics, makes it worth the read. I wish we had more material like this in circulation these days.
