I dislike pouring small volumes from large bottles—I'm too clumsy. I use a condiment squeeze bottle (what you might use for a ketchup squeeze container) to hold a smaller amount of Persil and then I put the large bottle away. I also found an old set of measuring spoons that contained a dessert spoon measure—a dessert spoon equals two teaspoons (about 10 mls). The combination solved that laundry-day annoyance for me.
Recently I needed laundry soap yet again. So I did some research and bought 7 different products that were reviewed highly in other reviews from reputable sources.
This is probably my favorite overall. I've not used it on heavily soiled fabrics, this is the one I'll use for clothes and linens. It seems to clean well and gently, and leaves a nice very light scent.
I think I like the ajax for soiled items like rags and work clothes, it's cheaper and works well.
