Came across this product after our 6-y/o tortie cat got bored while sitting in the vicinity of an electric heater during a cold day. She decided to chew on the 120V plugged-in power cord (!). Luckily, we caught her before she chewed all the way through. She put quite a few little holes in the insulation, though. This cord protector put a swift end to that activity, though. Not only is the cord too big for her to chew comfortably, there is no way her teeth would even come close to the bare wire. The product arrived very fast, much faster than I expected it, either one or two days after ordering.

The *only* reason they did not get a 5-star review is because in my outdated old-person view, this thing is really only worth between 5-10 dollars… if not less. No way it's worth $15. Except, that is, if you have a pet that wants to commit suicide and burn the damn house down at the same time. THEN, it's worth $15.
