Hue App Has Automated Ability and Helps Efficiency

I have four total, three connected. I recommend connecting to Alexa. I also recommend the Philips Hue app. I’ve had these for about a year and the only issue was when the app updated. It was frustrating because they didn’t respond and I was about to freak out, but it was resolved after a couple of days. I have my lights automated through the Hue app as routines. It makes my life simpler. I’m going to buy more of these bulbs. The automation is nice and helps the efficiency in my opinion.

I’ve have this for a couple of months and told everyone how great it works. Loved loved loved it. Then yesterday the hub went out. Dead. No lights. No way to resuscitate it. Reading through pages, I see a lot of people saying it’s the power cord... absolutely insane.

Love the lights and all the potential settings/set ups possible. Love the functionality with Alexa. My only complaint is when setting up with Alexa app, sometimes Alexa duplicates the light designation/control and then when you try to command Alexa, there is a conflict and Alexa doesnt know which light designation to use. There needs to be better cross talk between the phillips hardware and Alexa/Amazon products. It works, and it works well. But it isnt perfect. Hopefully over time wither Phillips or Amazon figure out why Alexa duplicates light designations.

I decided to pay the extra money for these Philips Hue bulbs (and not some off-brand smart lights), and I was definitely not disappointed. They connected easily with my echo dot, and were very easy to install. If you're looking for smart lights that will last you awhile and you have the budget, I highly suggesting purchasing the classic Philips Hue bulbs.

These bulbs do not change colors which is why I bought them. I was obviously confused. But they work great. I wish they were brighter but they are bright enough. Simple to set up if you follow the instructions closely. Works with Alexa.
