Book was wet and disintegrated INSIDE the plastic wrap

The book came plastic-wrapped, and as I took the plastic wrap off, I was hit with a bad smell and then realized the book was WET inside the packaging. Because of that, the book totally fell apart in my hands— the binding between all the pages, and between the sound board and book. The sound board also didn’t work, presumably because it was all wet. So disappointed because it looks like it could’ve been a high quality book, and my daughter LOVES Pinkfong songs. Amazon fully refunded me so that wasn’t an issue, but for a $20 board book for kids, I expected better quality control!

I did include a picture of the song list since that wasn’t a part of the listing when I ordered and there weren’t any reviews for this version of the book yet. I’m contemplating reordering but may wait to see if others have this issue too.

I thought it would be cute to have "Pink Fong" at grandma's house. "Grandma shark, do do,," It is so irritating. My little grandsons think all the songs are wonderful. We had to hide it from them before we all went crazy. I suggest you get this book for someone you kind of don't like, but feel obliged to send a gift for their baby/toddler.

The children love the songs! However, the batteries do not last long. I gifted this at Christmas and by February, I've already had to change out the batteries. This item also arrive not working and had to request a replacement.
