We've gone through tons of different sippy cups. Like the Munchkin Miracle which has some merits but not when dropped from a high chair and a little bit difficult to clean. We've used the Zak design sippy cups and that was the one that pushed us to look for others. We had put one in our child's crib and it leaked sometimes and it was hard to find-out why. Also after being dropped several times for about a year the top lid cracked. So it wasn't a bad cup but the Playtex cup is just better. If you plan to leave a cup in the crib or you plan for a cup to take a beating from being dropped on your tile floors over and over again this is the cup.

I bought these and the Re-Play pack of 3 (different shades of blue/green) sippy cups. We also had the 360 miracle cups. When my 1 year old throws the cups, these let less milk out than the others. He has to throw it pretty hard for a drop to come out. The 360 cups leak the most, next is the re-play cups, and the least leaking is these. They’re easy to clean and have gone through the dishwasher at least a dozen times now with no issues (plus we rinse it out after every use). So they seem durable. My only con is that they’re “branded” with Paw Patrol - I prefer unbranded baby gear but it’s not a huge deal.

Best sippy for our 2 year old. He enjoys taking a sippy to bed with him in case he gets thirsty in the night. So I don’t feel comfortable with a straw cup, cup without a lid, and have yet to find a spoutless cup that works as they should. So these cups have been the go-to for us. Although I wish the valves didn’t loosen so quickly making us have to purchase them frequently. That’s the only downfall.

Easy enough for my 12 month old to drink from, throw around without breaking or leaking, and for me to clean.

There is a rubber (perhaps silicon) insert which seals the nipple when not in use, opens when being sucked on, and a vent which allows the bottle to equalize pressure under vacuum. The insert pops off with ease for cleaning.
