Boat arrived in afternoon and we immediately inflated it for next day use. When we took it in morning to go to pool it had already lost half of the air. Absolute rubbish. Don’t buy! Also, bought on Amazon marketplace and seller’s email isn’t active. Do not trust the 4+ stars this has - looks like a scam.
My boys were so excited for this! They pumped this up with a foot pump, tossed it into the pool and within 30 minutes of them scooting each other around, it was sinking. My husband found a seam tear and repaired it. Another 30 minutes in the pool and this time it was filling up with water. Now to search for the next hole. This was a huge disappointment.
I was disappointed in this "boat" We had it about 2 weeks and then it got a hole in it, still unable to find the hole to patch, Probably along a seam. Not very thick material just your basic blow up float. Was smaller than I expected. My 6 year old fit in it okay but wasn't able to stretch his legs out, my 8 year old was to big to fit in it. Maybe okay for smaller children with an adult pulling them around, but not made for kids who can swim and play in the pool on their own.
This was the best inflatable boat ever for my five year old son. It was easy to inflate by mouth, because it has a big hole for that. He loved it, it was sturdy and I trusted it. He had a blast floating in the pool all last summer. When pool season was over, I deflated it, packed it into a giant ziplock bag, and stored it. We got it back out a few weeks ago and inflated it, and there were problems instantly. There are four places where the seam between the floor and the sides have separated, which lets water in. That’ll sink any boat. There’s also a half inch slit in the actual wall, at the seam also, which lets all the air out. I tried patching it, but it’s no use. So I’d say this is a fantastic buy, but only if you only plan to use it for one season.
Great little boat for the pool! The mast will NOT stay up. It might if you are really good at inflating but by the next morning it is limp to the side. Kids love it tho. I have a 5.5 yr old and 3yr old and we actually use it in the rectangular inflatable pool... gotta love the covid entertainment days of social distancing fun!!! We have taken it to the HOA pool as well but they seem to have more imagination in the backyard with it.
Originally bought this for my kid to play inside the house, not in a pool. Its on carpet and holds up well. Duplo blocks were underneath it and was jumped and laid on. Barely felt them and did not cause any leaks. The only issue so far is the main mast leans to one side after a week but other than that, its still holding up great for the past 2 weeks almost. Will update if it ever makes it to a pool.
Overall, the boat does what I need for my toddler. It is good for his age because it has a bottom, and it holds two toddlers (60+ pounds). However, as many other reviews report - the mast does not remain straight after the first few hours. Even when fully inflated with an air compressor, it curves to the side. Additionally, the valve for the inflatable bottom is in a terrible spot (right where the kids sit). The first time I inflated it and my son crawled in, the valve pushed through and punctured the underside of the boat. It still floats without that part inflated, but that is a big design flaw.
