This whey tastes pretty good overall (slightly higher on the sweet side) and works well with anabolic ice-cream (which is pretty good for whey isolate). It does have a slight artificial touch to the taste tho but I don't mind it too much as it's not as pronounced as other brands I've tried.

Overall, it is a definitely good buy for the value (price per serving).

Chocolate lava tastes like chocolate milk! This is the only protein shake I can actually drink without holding my nose or gagging from the taste. I have ordered this twice now and will continue to purchase. The only complaint is the canister size. It looks like you are getting more than you actually are. When you open the container it’s only half full so that’s disappointing.

This is one of the best-tasting proteins I’ve ever bought. I blended one scoop of the chocolate lava cake flavor with 1/2 of a frozen banana, 1T peanut butter, 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, some ice, and a little bit of water and it’s very good. I don’t think it tastes like a protein shake (although it’s not quite a milkshake either). It’s very sweet so I may add more water going forward, but I like my shakes to be a little thinner anyway (think somewhere between slim fast and a milkshake).

I can’t speak for whether or not it upsets my stomach yet, so if I have problems with that as I drink more I will update my review.

So far, for the money (approx 70 cents per scoop at the larger size) it seems like this is a really good deal. That’s much better than I do at GNC.

I have been buying protein powder for many years and thought I finally found the best product by far with the Solimo brand, but they stopped making it in the 5lb tub so I thought I would try this. I won’t be trying it again. Why? First, the container is only 2/3 full, but since I don’t have a food scale, I have to trust that it contains the weight on the label. Second, you’ll have more success getting sand to dissolve than this stuff - I just don’t get how folks claim it does other than never using a product that really does. I’ve posted photos of what it looks like after a minute of vigorous stirring and of what’s left in the glass after you drink it. Third, while the flavor is ok, it leaves you with that bitter aftertaste from the artificial sweetener, they simply use too much of it. I’m sitting here 15 minutes after I drank it and I still have that taste in my mouth-yuck!

This is one of my absolute favorite proteins. For awhile I was using Progenex protein powder and recovery & even though I loved it - it was definitely a little pricey compared to other protein powders out there. That being said, I still have some progenex left and the other day I had to take some after my work out because I ran out of my Xtend protein powder before I remembered to order more and I prefer Xtend's chocolate lava taste far more than Progenex Belgian-Chocolate.

There are a lot of reviews on here about how it's very thick, I just add a little more water than they recommend if I feel like it is too thick, but it's not to the point where it's unbearable to drink. I love that there are BCAA's in it, and 25G of protein. I've been using this protein powder for almost 6 months now and I still love it.

I drink mine with water. I've tried it with unsweetened almondmilk which is still good, but I'm always on the go after my work outs so water works just fine for me and it tastes delicious.

This is the protein that science would have you believe to take for muscle growth. Whey Isolate, BCAA, etc are all in this protein and it's NSF certified all for a good price.

So, not much to rate here other than the taste. And the taste is pretty good. It is a sweeter than I would like it to be granted it only has 1 gram of sugar but because it's sweetened with Sucralose you get that over sweetness taste.

Other than that this is a good protein to price ratio to consume.
