Product Description

This sweet, woody oil is made from wildcrafted cedar trees in the USA. It is a great oil to use during meditation as it is known for providing emotional strength and is very grounding and centring. Emotionally, cedarwood has been known to relieve mental strain, help with symptoms of depression and bring relief for insomnia when stress-related.

It acts as a deterrent to moths and insects which is why our ancestors used cedar chests to store clothing. It is also antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal and mildly astringent. These properties make it great for oil blends, steams and masks to support your skin.

TIPS AND USES

- As with many of the conifer oils, cedarwood atlas essential oil is an exquisite choice when looking to support healthy lungs and promote clear breathing. Diffuse around your home or in your bedroom before going to bed.
- To make a stress relieving massage oil add 5 drops of cedarwood oil, 5 drops of bergamot, 2 drops of jasmine and fill a 1oz (30ml) bottle with jojoba oil.
- Put a few drops on a cloth and tuck it away in your closet to repel insects.
