2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible quality not worth the price

I was sure the negative reviews were just people being negative but I am really sad that I spent $150 on this highchair. One of the legs is messed up and the quality Is just NOT worth the price. The plastic seems cheesy and cheap and the seat pad is definitely not going to last very long. It also took almost a week to get here. Pretty disappointed

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Horrible, but definitely cheap plastic seat.

I have a Nomi and Stokke high chair for more regular use but wanted a reasonable price and a sturdy chair.

I bought this chair as an extra high chair to leave at our other home. However, I can't imagine using this chair, let alone use it regularly. The seat is so cheap. The plastic (while many other chairs also contain plastic) is definitely cheap and bendable. SERIOUSLY anyone arguing otherwise may just be used to garbage.

Nothing is leather about this chair., not even pleather. It reminds me of those 99 cents stores with plastic toys.

I also read the negative reviews and thought maybe there are some flukes; however, as many others mentioned, the plastic is cheap, and the seat leans forward. My child slides down and leans onto the tray. He is almost one and can walk and sit up. I can only imagine how younger babies struggle in this chair.

It's too much of a hassle to disassemble and return it. But I wouldn't recommend it if this is your main high chair.
Just buy a cheaper 50 dollar Graco high chair that is the same quality.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed

Overall I’m a little disappointed in the quality and functionality of the chair priced at this point.

We’ve been using this high chair for a few months now and we have mixed feelings. I bought it on sale for $125. I felt like it was worth paying a little more for something that looked better in my kitchen and matched my table. But its good looks is about all it’s got going for it.

It is very poorly made. We actually are on our second chair because the first one had to be replaced. The seat leaned forward and my baby would have a hard time sitting without sliding towards the tray. If we weren’t holding onto her while buckling/unbuckling her she would have undoubtedly fallen to the floor. We sent for a replacement and the company was very good about it. It came quickly and was shipped for free (the returned chair was also shipped for free). I carefully assembled it paying extra close attention to the instructions, but the new seat had the exact same slant! We also have to tighten the legs every couple of weeks because they get loose.

It is very difficult to remove and replace the tray, it definitely takes two hands and several tries. I think for a chair at this price point a one-hand remove/replace option is a must.

The only other thing I liked besides the looks is that it is fairly easy to clean. The tray has a top that comes off making it much easier to rinse. The seat padding is made of some sort of vegan leather that wipes down nicely as well.

I know you can’t have everything you might want in a $125 chair, but I had hoped for at least something sturdy enough to last for several years - which I wouldn’t bet on!

2.0 out of 5 stars Could be better

Easy to clean and light enough to move around. The legs are spread pretty wide to the sides so when I move it I always bang one of them on something. The straps are clumsy and awkwardly placed - our 8 month old is tall for her age (96th percentile) and the straps don’t fit her properly. They get in the way of feeding since they reach her chin depending on how she moves so we never strap her in. She’s pretty secure it there anyhow and we never leave her unattended (you shouldn’t, even if baby is strapped in). Her feet also don’t touch the footrest but that’s fine. When I adjust the tray to the lock position, at some point during feeding she might move and the tray will make a loud click sound - even after I clicked it into place already. Unsure why this second snap happens - the first snap tells me its locked in place but apparently it never is. It does have a great look and goes pretty perfectly with Mid century wood/white decor. For the price, there’s definitely room for improvement. After 10 months of use, the leather back is no longer attached to the seat and slips forward. (Beware reviews! Seller is offering discounts to have negative reviews deleted)

2.0 out of 5 stars No instructions….

Really cute but I can see why this is much cheaper than in store high chairs. The quality isn’t that great. The worst part was that I received absolutely NO instructions with this product. Normally, I don’t mind as I don’t even look at them anyway, but given that this was for my baby I wanted to make sure it was done right. After multiple attempts I finally got it right. If not built properly, it wobbles.

2.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Purchase

We've had this chair for a year and three months. It has fallen apart. The gray mat insert is impossible to clean and had to be thrown away, along with the padded straps. While sitting at dinner tonight, a long screw literally fell out of the chair. The chair is wobbling in multiple places and the screw can't be re-inserted. We will have to throw the chair away. I don't expect a high chair to last years and years, but I do expect it to last through one child's infant to toddler years.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor user design
Reviewed in the United States on 8 August 2021

Easy to clean, but horrible design. The tray is the hardest to slide in correctly on the first try compared to the other 4 highchairs I used. The tray also can't lay flat on the table, so you can't leave it messy or put food on it to cool. This is the biggest issue. The height is lower than standard tables even with the longer legs. Would not reccomend as there are many better alternatives.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous

Bought this for my 15 month old daughter after she outgrew her Fisher Price Space saver thinking it would be a good chair for her to grow in. The front legs are shorter than the back legs, so the whole chair leans forward when put together. Also the straps that you pull through the back after you buckle them in don't secure, my 15 month old was able to pull them forward so she was basically swimming in the seat. And when I went to take her out I removed the tray, and she literally slid out of the chair because it leaned forward so much. Thank God I grabbed her, but that could be really dangerous if your child is younger. I will be returning and I'm disappointed at this price point that this chair wasn't better.

2.0 out of 5 stars Constantly tripping over it, and no wheels.

This darn thing. Due to the legs jetting out so far, we trip over it constantly. Very annoying. Two other things we don’t like: there are no wheels, so it’s harder to move around, and the top tray can’t be removed with one hand like our last high chair, which is tricky when holding a baby.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recommend

The back legs stick out quite far, everyone in the family has tripped over it quite a few times. Also the seat cushion is removable which is good for cleaning but the fabric no longer sticks to the two Velcro circles on the frame, the cushion is no longer usable.
