WARRANTY OF THE SSD DRIVE WILL NOT BE COVERED BY SAMSUNG

Hi Team,

I was quite disappointed when SAMSUNG SINGAPORE wrote back to me that they would not provide Warranty Coverage for the product purchased on AMAZON SG.

While I understand logistically that each regional factory would be responsible for the list of serial numbers that were produced in their factory. But it simply is illogical that a product from SAMSUNG cannot be covered under warranty when it is made in a different regional factory and was sold via Amazon. This particular product still comes from a specific SAMSUNG factory and why cant they cover the product if it is every defective during the stipulated warranty period?

Bad cable and it appears to extrude white wax

The cable that came with it falls out of my MBP. I replacement Amazon cable is now that I use.

The next issue is that it leaks a white substance. I complained and they said the defective product has no local warranty in Singapore.

So I won't buying Samsung again!

I just received my 3rd T7 1TB that I ordered. Although the box look tired and the 2 plastic stickers was unfolded, I trust that it is a new item. Fire up my PC and ran the Samsung Magician. NICE! Power on frequency was shown as 1 and total hours on is 0. Decided to check the red T7 500GB that was ordered 2 months back ( this purchase ). OMG!!! It is a used one. The Magician reported around 1000 hours on usage and 35 times being powered on. I don't remembered using the T7 for so many hours since then. Guessed that I was unlucky that had received a used set. Writing this to warn others - Please use the Magician software to check what you had bought ???
