Product description

► Enhanced Security

Random Security Code
- Before entering pin, 2 random numbers to push will appear. Throws off on-lookers and spreads your fingerprints around the keypad to prevent guessing of your passcode.
Double Authentication - Both password and RFID tag are required to unlock the door
Double Locking - Use this feature to prevent the lock from being unlocked from outside, even by a key.
Anti Theft - Secure your home when your family is away. An alarm is set off when the lock is operated from inside; a sign of a thief trying to flee.
Mischief Prevention - After 5 failed entry attempts a warning sounds and the lock stops operating for 3 minutes.
Intrusion Alarm - If the door is opened while still locked an alarm will sound making the intruder less likely to stay.
Fire Warning - If temperature reaches a certain degree the thermal sensor will activate the alarm. The lock will auto unlock helping you to escape the fire.
Emergency Power - No battery; no problem. Simply use a 9V battery to power the lock from the outside panel and enter as usual.
Auto Locking - Magnetic sensor enables door to automatically lock after 3 seconds of being closed.
Auto Polling - Skip wake up/random security code when using RFID to enter.
Low Battery Warning - When batteries are low, the lock will play Fur Elise after every unlocking of the door.

1.0 out of 5 stars EXTREME cracking issues.
Reviewed in the United States on 24 October 2019
The lock itself works how I would expect. However, the front face is cracked almost to the point of it not being readable. Direct sunlight for a few hours a day, but normal temps humidity (Charlotte,NC). No reason at all it should be cracking like that. Very disappointing, and the "warranty" process seems like I'd have to send it to 1 place in the US at my expense. No problem, except of course its on my front door, so I can't exactly be without a lock for 3-4 weeks while this process takes place. And if I buy another one, I won't put this one back on the door!

Overall, I would not (will not) purchase this product, or a Samsung lock, again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great RFID Lock
Reviewed in the United States on 10 May 2017
After living abroad for so long, I've grown accustomed to automated smart locks and RFID locks. Coming back stateside, my collection of keys grew tenfold. To slim my pockets, I started by replacing my traditional locks with the EZON line of products. Although they don't tie into my home automation system (they're just RFID locks), they're easy to install, program and the price is just right. In the future, I'll probably upgrade to something I can command with a phone but with my kids being devious pranksters, I don't want to introduce that technology to the household just yet. Anyway, each lock took approximately 15 minutes to install. The instructions weren't difficult and there's a few youtube videos on the net to help out. I utilized the existing holes that my manual deadbolts used. The only part that made me cringe a little was when I chipped away at my new doorway molding to make space for the magnetic sensor. Overall, the lock operates smooth. No problems using the touchpad, RFID tags, cards, or stickers. I even programed my old RFID tag from Korea into the system. I would buy this product again if needed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool lock; has some quirks; door modifications might be necessary
Reviewed in the United States on 6 September 2018
The lock functions well, but the overall installation took about three hours and required me to use a Dremel to alter the edge bore of the door (the hole through which the deadbolt itself travels). A couple millimetres really made a difference ...

The reason why I'm not giving the product a 5/5 is because it lacks ability to disable the annoying security alarm feature without disabling the auto-lock feature.

If you connect and set up the supplied magnetic sensor to the main logic board, open the lock manually using the turn switch after it automatically locks itself, and proceed to open the door (breaking the magnetic contact), the lock will make an alarm sound.

It needs to be disabled by entering a user code or by using an RFID tag.

Because I still forget to press the unlock button before exiting, I've hung one of the RFID tags next to the door so that I can quickly disable the alarm when I unlock it manually.

(yes, I know my door's dirty: this apartment's been abused by tens of people before me.)
