Product description
Elephant bulls are considerably bigger than elephant cows. Reaching heights of almost four meters, they are the second largest land animals after giraffes. They also weigh five to six tons, which makes them the heaviest of all land animals. African elephant bulls usually leave their herd when they are about twelve years old. By then they are grown-up enough to find their own food and defend themselves, so they move through the country with other bulls or as a loner - in search of another herd.

Tarantula (Item #14829)Tarantulas are among the largest spiders in the world. In contrast to many other spiders, they do not spin a web, but lay in wait for their prey – especially frogs, mice and birds. People don't have to be afraid of them. Tarantulas may have a strong bite, but they are good-natured, and their venom is weaker than that of bees. |
Giant Panda, female (Item #14773)Pandas always have a big appetite. They eat at least 10 kg of bamboo each day. However, they don’t digest much of it, since bamboo is low in nutrients. That doesn’t prevent pandas from being connoisseurs: out of 100 bamboo species, only 25 are good enough for them. |
Killer Whale (Item #14807)The orca is a large, toothed whale that belongs to the dolphin family. Its black and white coloring makes its unmistakable. Animals swimming under it don't recognize it, because the surface of the water is just as bright as its belly. And from above, you can hardly tell its apart from the sea floor thanks to its black back. |
