This would work best if you could set it on a counter where you wrap a lot so you can roll it out over the food, then zip it with the cutter. Leaving it put makes it work easier but our tiny kitchen isn't designed for that so you have to make do.
It cuts easily, pull out as long a chunk as you need, but it still tends to wrap back into itself. Just don't cut it under a lot of tension, otherwise it springs into the rest of the clear.
That being said, it's way better than cutting your knuckles on the old fashioned saw tooth boxes, and it's a heck of a lot easier to get it out.
My advise when putting that adhesive strip in place is move it one inch farther in on the box, so you end up with about an inch and a half of clear plastic outside the box to work with when you are attempting to grab it. You kind of pick at the cut point at the little plastic strip to get the clear plastic off.
This may be easier if you have 20 year old eyes, however with grandpa eyes, you have to watch closely to find the end, hence my comment above.
It's still much better than a standard box, and with the quantity involved, may outlast me.
