3.0 out of 5 stars Not really user friendly

These scissors look and sound great, but I have two issues with them which has caused me to return them. For one thing, they are too small for adult hands and I have petite hands. If that were the only issue, I could deal with it, but the safety button feature is very frustrating. You can't make a full cut like you naturally do when cutting something or else it closes the blades and locks in place. Maybe it's just me, but it's not natural to make half a cut and then start again, especially on a small item that you should be able to cut in half with one try. I can't even cut a strawberry in half because the blades are so short that if I make a full cut, the blades lock.

The safety button is a two handed feature, which I appreciate for my child's sake, but it's difficult to do while in the middle of food prep and you didn't expect the scissors to lock up. I've decided it's not worth fighting the scissors every time so I will return and probably just use a regular pair of scissors.

I am sad to return them because they look great, come in appealing packaging and the blade covers are a great plus too. I just wished they worked in a manner that was closer to my expectations.
