Are we allowed to award ten stars?!?! My husband and I, both healthcare professionals, clipped our newborn’s nails with baby fingernail clippers and nipped three out of ten fingers! And my husband is a surgeon! And this is our second baby! Jeez. I wouldn’t worry about clipping her nails except for she scratches the heck out of her face. I read such great reviews of these little scissors that I thought I would try them. They are wonderful!!! I have trimmed her nails twice without incident. Very easy to handle and very easy to use. If you have large fingers you might have a difficult time with the small finger holes but you really only need to put your fingers in up to the first joint to use them. Worth every penny to not hurt my sweet little baby.

When our preemie came home, he would scratch his face when he was hungry. Everybody told me "cut his nails already!" But nobody believed when I said his fingers were so tiny that a regular baby nail clipper was just impossible. His pinky nails were only about 1mm wide and there was hardly any space under his fingernail to wedge a nail clipper in.Reviewed in the United States on 22 July 2017
I am so glad that I found this tiny nail scissors by accident! It was the only thing I was able to trim our baby's nails with for the first 3 months. It has rounded edge so I don't need to worry about accidentally poking him. It's sharp that it cuts without bending the nail.
Now our baby is 5 months old. I still prefer this one to a baby nail clipper.

Seriously! I'm scratching my head thinking why I never knew about the sooner...I mean I'm seriously on my third child and it was a pain in the neck trying to cut their nails, this thing does it so effortlessly and easy! I actually use it on my toddler too, I've got a two month old and a 2 year old and this doesn't seem to bother either of them it's painless and they just sit there staring at me, (pure serenity and happiness) and best of all, no nicks! Thank you to the makers of these scissors!!! They're super safe for those little fingers. I wish I had them from the beginning. But unfortunately, I used nail clippers that came in the baby first aid kit and accidentally hurt my little munchkin while being very careful (I cried more than he did).Reviewed in the United States on 27 June 2017
I was scared to cut his nails after that. So I started researching for the scissors instead of nail clippers. And I'm super grateful to find these. It's the perfect size and shape. I feel very safe using them!! And i love the plastic lid that locks in.

I really liked these in the beginning when my baby was first born. I go back and forth between these and an electric file. These seem to still leave sharp edges and I just now cut my baby's thumb. They're not as safe as they were stated to be.
