Cameron's Products Smoker Bag is made for oven, grill or campfire use. Use with fish, poultry, beef, pork, vegetables and game meat. The wood chip flavoring is already inside, sealed between the bottom two layers of foil and held in place by natural wood syrups, so preparation of your meal is a snap. The fish, poultry, meat, tofu or vegetables can be placed in the bag with seasonings to your taste - no fats, oils or salt need to be added. Fold the opening end three or four times to seal and press firmly. Place on the medium high barbeque grill or on the bottom rack of your 500 degree oven for the times given. The bag will balloon while cooking. Remove and cut the top open with a sharp knife for your moist and tasty smoked meal. Serve food from the foil bag and then toss away the bag. NO CLEAN UP AT ALL. Mesquite is the strongest flavor and is best for red meat and game meats. This set includes a set of 6 mesquite smoker bags. Easy to use instructions and recipes are included on the packaging.

So, my simple recipe for perfect Salmon...
about 1 lb fillet of Salmon
5 or 6 medium red potatoes
1lb of Asparagus
Spray the inside of the smoker bag is non stick (Pam)
Place your fish skin side down. Cover the meat with a sprinkle of garlic salt and about 1 cup of brown sugar.
Quarter your potatoes and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Trim your Asparagus and sprinkle with (you guessed it) Garlic salt. Don't over do it!
Pack half of the potatoes in the closed end of the bag. Slide the fish in next. Place the Asparagus next to the fish down the sides of the bag. Pack the rest of the potatoes in the open end of the bag, and seal the bag. Place your smoker bag directly onto a preheated grill turned down to low heat. Close the lid...come back in 30 min cause it is time to eat!!! Careful, the bag is hot! Slide the bag onto a cutting board, and cut the bag open with scissors and serve directly out of the bag. The skin will most likely be stuck to the inside of the bag, but the fillet will pull away very easily with a spatula. Enjoy!!!
For thicker cuts of meat, the smoke can't really get into the meat, so it's not as noticeable. More suitable for chops, ribs, fish, maybe pieces of chicken.
These bags are long enough to fit a whole 2lb salmon fillet, or a 8 lb pork shoulder butt.
As for the meat, eh. I tried some flank, and I guess there was some smoke flavor in it, I suppose. Of course, as I was standing in the smokehouse that was formerly my kitchen, it's possible I just couldn't tell.
