1.0 out of 5 stars Answer key isn't correct
Reviewed in the United States on 5 October 2019
Now I'm no math wizard or anything, but the last time I checked, 45/5 was 9, not 7. Spectrum seems conflicted about this. There are a lot of mistakes in the answer key which makes corrections confusing when your own math (and calculator) differ from what the book says. Lots of time wasted on problems that were correct, but the answer key says otherwise.

The kicker? On page 64 (see attached picture) they ask 45/5 twice. The correct answer is listed for the first problem, but not the second. Now imagine how confusing that could be to a child seeing this math for the first time. Heck, I'm an adult and I feel like I'm going crazy and this book is gaslighting me.

Speaking of repeat problems on the same page, you're going to see a lot of that. I would have thought these were computer-generated if it weren't for the incorrect answer key.

Hopefully Spectrum/Carson-Dellosa hires some better proof-readers before sending out the next edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great review before entering the 5th grade!
Reviewed in the United States on 4 August 2018
This workbook has really helped my ten year old this summer. I’m glad I choose this one because I really wanted him to have a solid foundation before he enters the 5th grade. I love how it gives a review just in case mom forgot how to do the problems. Also I like how it gives a mix of problems and word problems.
