Will be returning this ASAP. Didn’t realize this is NOT made by HP. Couldn’t get it to sync to complete the setup. Very frustrated !!! Can’t select zero stars. Do not buy this.

Bought this as a replacement for a previous Sprocket. I used it almost daily for two years, so it was pretty durable for such a small thing. I use these 2" x 3" sticky-backed prints to illustrate my daily journal with photos. This new version has much better color, which was one of the only drawbacks with the old one. No-ink technology (I think it's closer to dye sublimation) means the only supplies you need are the 2" x 3" photo papers, $32 or so for 100.

Not the Type of Print You Expect

I tried HD photos, low quality photos, and everything in between. However, the print always came out cartoon-ish and extremely grainy. Not the effect I'm looking for. I'm guessing it's the Zinc printing effect or maybe just the machine I received myself. I've seen others come out very well, I even asked them to send me the exact photo they used to test print the Sprocket I received and the results were NOT the same. I appreciate that it is a sticker, but I'd rather have good quality prints over a sticker any day.

I ordered this on a whim thinking I might be able to create some cute photo oriented things for my grandkids but I didn’t hold out to much hope for its overall quality. To my surprise it turned out to be a pretty high quality item. It has a high quality feel and was very easy and quick to initiate. It found my iPhone and iPad quickly and was printing my first photo within 10 minutes. The print speed was very reasonable for the type of print process it uses and the print quality was on a par with a Polaroid print. I peeled the back off of my sample print and it adheres just fine to a surface. Overall I’m impressed and to me it’s well worth the money. Now I need to Figure out what to do with it!
