As long as you follow the manual, the product is easy to use.

I have two cats, one is a free feeder and the other has timed feeds from a dispenser as she can eat an entire day's worth of food in one seating.

This microchip feeder is for my free-feeding cat and she is not afraid of the flap at all. She learned pretty quickly within a day that the food in the feeder is hers only.

The feeder is pretty easy to clean too. I did not get the rear cover as my timed feeding cat has no interest in the free feeder's food.

Nachdem wir die einfachen Futterautomaten dieser Marke auf Herz und Nieren getestet hatten, haben wir uns an dieses Modell gewagt. Auch dieses Produkt ist einfach klasse und funktioniert ohne Probleme. Die Einrichtung war sehr gut beschrieben und leicht verständlich.

Die Reinigung ist dank den abnehmbaren Komponenten ohne Probleme möglich :)

Unsere Kitten haben das Prinzip direkt verstanden und lassen die Automaten auch heile :)

Die Klappe macht leichte Geräusche, aber diese stören 0,00 und ein Zimmer weiter hört man diese auch nicht mehr.

Wir haben uns zwei der Futterautomaten gekauft, da unsere beiden Katzen sich gegenseitig das Futter beraubt haben. Dadurch hat die eine Katze sehr zugenommen und die andere hat das Essen sehr schnell runter geschlungen und anschließend musste sie sich übergeben.
Nun hat jede seinen Automaten der mit Chip gesteuert ist. Jede kann ihr Futter langsam und in Ruhe fressen wann und wie oft sie will. Weil kein Futterklau mehr stattfinden kann.
Wir können über die zugehörige App kontrollieren wie oft und zu welchen Uhrzeiten die beiden anziehe Automaten gehen. Und auch wie viel Gramm gegessen wird.
Beide Katzen sind nun total entspannt und nicht mehr so gestresst. Auch die eine Katze übergibt sich nicht mehr.

I have a new rescue cat that is very food driven, and 2 other super slow eaters. I thought this would only let the slow eating cats with the designated chip eat from it at their leisure without the other chowing down, but there are several ways non chipped cats can use it. they can eat from the back of it when it's open. ( there is another accessory you can buy to prevent this a fairly high cost in my opinion). They can also stick their head in the feeder while the chipped cat is eating. So I am not really on board with this feeder considering how much it cost and the fact that it actually doesn't prevent cats that are not linked to the feeder from breaking the code. It only really prevents them from walking up to it and eating when the other cats aren't.

Works pretty well, we have one grazing cat and one that will eat until she pukes. This lets the grazing cat eat when she wants. It is a little slow to close after she leaves but you need the hub if you want to adjust the timing.

The product looks and feels good, and does what it says on the box. I do wish is was mains powered and not battery, but if the batteries last a decent time I won't mind too much. Time will tell there.

I ordered two of the connect versions (without hub) and a hub separately as it worked out cheaper than one Connect (with hub) and one Connect (without hub). Of course Amazon being Amazon they all arrived at different times. So when my hub arrived and I couldn't connect them, I realised I had actually been sent two of the non-connect versions. So alas, I've had to box them back up and send them back as they weren't what I ordered or paid for (about a £50 difference in price). So buyer beware here. I'm never keen on multiple items being sold under one heading, sometimes it's a bit of a craps-shoot. I'm presuming this is an honest mistake in tagging the wrong items for the Amazon warehouse rather than a nice way to earn a few extra bucks. To those who said they couldn't connect their feeders to the hub - Double check and ensure what you received was what you ordered, the boxes do look similar but the products do have visible differences (and features)..... Right, now I've got to go find some Connect feeders (without hub) so I can order them. I need them for my cats as they have to have different foods and I can't take the chance that if I order these again i'll get the right ones (plus the delay in availability and shipping is putting me off)

I purchased this product without the hub (it isn't required although some of the hub features might be helpful for some). I have two cats: one who likes to graze and one who will inhale all food in sight and beg for more (same, buddy). However, after my little cement block was, deservedly, fat-shamed at the vet, we got this feeder to help him control his eating. More specifically, the dry food that he won't stop eating is now no longer available to him.

The product comes with a single bowl and a pair of separated half-size bowls, as well as a rubbery-feeling "mat" for the front. For my grazer, we went with the larger bowl. I fill it daily and then he can access it when he wants without worrying about Mr. Pudge eating it all.

Instructions were good, although I didn't use the first few pages, which are about connecting to a hub. Programming the cat's microchip was easy - you push a button and then drop some high value treats into the bowl. While your cat snacks, it registers their implanted microchip.

Training was also simple, there are 4 modes that slowly put more of the lid over the bowl so your cat can get used to it moving. My boy was a little anxious the first time the lid moved but settled right in to eat. If your cat is very nervous, you can leave the training mode at any stage for as long as necessary.

Now, hopefully, my chubby cat can lose some weight and make the vet proud at this next visit.
