That being said, I was hopeful for this product because of the positive reviews. The first time I tried it, I couldn't believe it!! I had NO sweat stains, I wasn't wet at all even after doing heavy lifting, vacuuming, etc. Stuff that would normally cause me to sweat under my arms. I was in love.
But a week later, when it was about time for me to re-apply Sweat Block, it didn't work as well. I still sweat and there are still marks. I'm a little disappointed. I was so excited after the first use because I thought I'd be able to wear colors again. But I guess I'm wrong.
Despite the less effective second application, I still sweat less and I'm sure I won't have as big of a problem with sweat stains. But the second and third applications weren't as effective as the first.
At 30 (18 years ago) my underarms started very obviously and obnoxiously sweating excessively at the sight of sunshine or slightest hint of humidity. I’ve been reduced to wearing either all black tops or other-than-black tops covered with a blazer or other clothing mechanism to disguise my “dirty little secret” from the rest of the world. Both work-arounds of course, while helping hide, resulted in even more sweating.
So uncomfortable, so embarrassing.

I received my first (and so far only) order of this product a few days before I went to Myrtle Beach with my mom for Mother’s Day 2018. I read the directions and, noting the lack of frequency recommended, thought, “Yeah, right. There’s no way!” I did use it a couple of nights before my trip. I patted, not rubbed in, as recommended, it didn’t hurt/burn. There was a little bit of tingling and tightness, but it quickly subsided. It was hardly noticeable.
I did notice in the following days that my shirts didn’t have evidence of wet pits, but as weather in Cincinnati was unseasonably cool leading up to my vacation, I didn’t take this result as proof. Mother’s Day weekend in Myrtle Beach, however, was a scorcher by comparison! So I applied one more time our first night there. I was so completely delighted, after 3 days of constantly checking with my hands or looking in a mirror, to find no evidence of sweating in cotton t-shirts.
With that came confidence! So I got lazy. After not using for a week or so, my old friend (wet pits) paid a visit again. While I was at work. How awkward.
In response, I re-applied the product 2 out of 3 past nights. Today, I wore a 100% polyester blouse to work. The blouse went on this morning. 5-10 mins later, I would normally see “evidence”. Instead, 12 hours later, the pits are still dry!
I’m going to attempt to attach a photo... but,again, this is my first review so please forgive me if I fail.
Sweat Block is a game-changer for me. I can trust it and know I’ll continue to use it. My only question is, “At what frequency?” It says once a week. But I don’t trust my over-active pits to comply. 🤣
4 weeks ago, I tried SweatBlock. I can’t honestly say it worked the first time I used it. I was still sweating, although not as much (maybe I used it wrong?), but I figured this product wasn’t going to work for me. I figured I’d try one last time on week 2 just to see what would happen.
LITERALLY LIFE CHANGING. For the first time in over 10 years I was able to go out and run errands and NOT A DROP OF SWEAT was seen that day!!! I can’t even imagine my life without this product.
