If you are trying to learn about good quality teas, it's a really good book!
A fascinating read into the REAL history of Chinese tea!Reviewed in the United States on 9 January 2020
I didn't know much about Chinese tea to begin with. (Other than differentiating between Oolong and Jasmine at a restaurant.) So I was happy to find a book that explains in simple terms everything I've been missing. From the history of Chinese Tea to the famous regions where these teas come from. I now know proper tea etiquette and the art of paring tea. This new knowledge has led me into a fun new hobby of exploring different teas. I'm impressed by the amount of research that went into this book and the care by which the translations were made. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a no-nonsense approach to understanding Chinese tea - no matter how much you think you know already - there is something in this book for everyone.
Throughly enjoyable and educational journey into the world of Chinese Tea!Reviewed in the United States on 26 December 2019
I used to only occasionally try Chinese tea every so often when it was available at a restaurant, for example, but that's all changed since I've read Tea is for Everyone. Equipped with knowledge and insights that I never had before that I acquired from this very approachable and engaging book, I now like to think of myself as something of a tea connoisseur. What I found particularly informative was the history behind and how to drink Chinese tea correctly! Highly recommended for anyone who, like me, is curious to learn more about Chinese teas.

Having grown up on dim sum, I was amazed at how little I knew about tea. This book captured just the right amount of information about Chinese tea, from the history of tea, to the tea making process and how to enjoy. I thorughly enjoyed the stories about the tea makers, and the beautiful photos are certainly a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about Chinese tea.
