Steeping delicious and exceptional tea is as simple as opening the pre-portioned pouch of tea, emptying the contents into a teapot or infusing basket, and pouring the water over the leaves to steep the perfect 12 oz cup or pot of tea. Now tea lovers can prepare the perfect cup anywhere, perfectly.

Each box contains fifteen Single Steeps pouches, 3 of each blend. Choose from eight unique Single Steeps collections. They are an ideal companion to our loose tea accessory collection.

Pour tea into infuser
Tear open the pouch and pour tea into the infusing basket that comes with your cup or teapot.

Pour water over leaves

I am a very picky tea drinker. I mainly like warm fruity water, so keep that in mind. I was very happy with this sampler, even though I would not purchase anymore of the majority of the flavors. I thought it was a great way to sample and share and I would recommend it for others.

Apricot Amaretto - I was not a fan, but cannot remember details as to why.
Blueberry Merlot - LOVED. I will be ordering this one. It's a lot of blueberry with a hint of merlot. I was concerned since I am not much of a wine drinker, but I really liked it.
Mojito Marmalade - Lots of mint, not much marmalade. I normally enjoy mint teas, but I was very disappointed since love real mojitos. I did enjoy this when I got sick.
Cherry Cosmo - Good taste of cherries, odd smell.
Kiwi Lime Ginger - Very strong in ginger. This one was too medicinal for me at first, but it was another one that I enjoyed when I got sick. Then the medicinal quality was soothing.

As I mentioned, I will not be reordering most of these, but I am still happy that I bought it. It has a nice variety. And since I am new to using loose leaf teas, it was nice to have them portioned out appropriately

Some of the flavors are okay. The kiwi one is the worst tea I've ever tried. Packaging is beautiful. Wish tea forte would stop with the fake flavoring. though. It's overpowering the tea itself. Picture adding drink mix in with your tea. Won't buy again. It's a shame because the tea itself looks gorgeous... They missed the mark with the additive.

I decided recently to try and get into tea and have really been trying to figure out what I like. I would highly recommend this to any beginner or mid-serious tea enthusiast to try many different types and flavors of tea. The tea has been really delicious and great to have.
If you're really serious about tea, however, you'll probably want to go to your favorite shop to purchase leaves. The packets in this sampler are good for only one infusion and come in single serve. This is definitely an asset if like me you have multiple people trying to test out different teas in your household, but if you're more serious about tea you may as well go for more reusable leaves.
Tea Forte clearly makes a good product, and I'm really happy with this purchase. A tea for every mood! I've actually loved all the flavors in this sampler, despite generally being quite picky, and that this offers a wide range from herbal to oolong!

Lotus collection: not my favorite. The jasmine and orange tea has very little orange flavor and overwhelming jasmine, which is unfortunate. Jasmine is a lovely flavor typically but like most florals it can become too strong easily. Lavender and lemon on the other hand, had almost no lavender taste or smell. It was essentially a lemon chamomile tea. Good on its own, but not what I hoped for. The darjeeling quince is alright, but I am a poor judge. It is not a flavor I enjoy when it is strong, but it mingled well with the citrus (if you are unaware, quince is essentially a bubblegum flavor, or sort of a sweet licorice). I prefer it in a green tea rather than black, so take that as you will. Vanilla pear is the real savior here for me, despite a weak ginger presence. It was otherwise very well balanced and delightful! Second to that I would say the Oolong and marigold was quite a pleasant and subtle mixture, where you could really enjoy the flavor of the tea. The marigold was definitely not overhwelming, and the peach comes through just right.

Every tea has an amazing aroma, but I was let down by the taste of many in this sampler. I much prefer the Noir and Herbal mixes from Tea Forte, all of which are much much more appealing as far as the strength of floral hints vs other ingredients, and for the Noir collection I was especially happy not to lose the black tea flavor beneath it all (chocolate rose and caramel nougat were my definite favorites).

The herbal teas are perfect dessert teas, which need no sugar to give them a very sweet flavor if that is what you are looking for. While I normally drink tea without additives, I strongly recommend against any added sugar to herbals on first few tries. Cherry cosmo and blueberry merlot are A++, in particular!

In the end though, these single steep samplers are perfect as gifts, and a greay way to try a variety from various tea forte collections all at once. If you are unsure what you might like, I absolutely recommened trying a sampler set first.
