We live in a small apartment, so our laundry room plays many roles: laundry, cleaning supply storage and what we call our "Go Zone," where we keep our wallets, hats, gloves and, now, masks. It's helpful for us to have these things all in one place, so we don't forget anything that keeps us safe in our new normal. That's where the baskets come into play! We have an Ikea bookshelf in our laundry room, repurposed into cleaning supply storage and Go Zone space. As you can see, the top shelf has His and Hers Go Zone baskets for each of us, with a basket of masks in the middle, ready for the taking on the way out the door. Below that shelf you can see our laundry and cleaning supplies, organized and ready for grabbing. No more trying to grab just one dryer sheet from the box, no more confusion about what's a dryer sheet and what's a Swiffer pad. These baskets transformed a chaotic space into an organized, multipurpose home management center!
