** Edit to add the seller reached out to mention they have changed suppliers, and apologized for the quality - I appreciate the proactive response from the seller. (11/26) These are not well made at all. I bought 4 for my linen closet - they aren't uniform in shape or height so by no means does it help to make the closet look organized. There are huge creases on the ends from them being folded in on themselves - no idea how to make it smooth like the picture. Super flimsy. Finally - they stink. There is no way I will put fresh sheets and towels in them! Returning :(
Super cute! Very sturdy! I was worried about it caving in once it was set up, but it does not. If you do not want to close the top, just leave it untied and it neatly stays along the inside of the basket. I will be ordering more!!!
We needed a giant "bin" for stuffed animals. (I think these stuffed animals are regenerating every day practically) this container was PERFECT to hold all of them. It also fits perfect into the compartment in the toy chest/shelf unit we have in the kids room. It's sturdy and the gray color was perfect. We don't use the top cover, I just tuck it in which works fine. I'm glad it's there though because somehow more and more stuffed animals keep making their way into our home.
Does not maintain shape and thus stability if not on large, flat surface. I wanted this to stay on a wall mounted rack that didn't extend far enough out from the wall to fully support every inch of this basket's base, which would have been fine if it didn't keep collapsing on itself. More than 80% of it was supported by the surface area of that rack. I like the draw string closing feature. Sad that it didn't have an "interior" fabric system that can be removed and washed.
We've purchased these baskets in the past and I don't remember this problem. But unfortunately we ordered 4 this time and all of them have the worst chemical spray paint off gassing smell. Such a bummer when companies allow such terrible chemicals to go into the making of their products. Too bad...
We use these baskets to hold blankets and toys. They look very nice and can hold a ton! The rectangular shape helps to stack things efficiently. My only complaint is that the rope handles pull out of the slot if the basket is heavy (i.e. holding toys and books). You can replace the handles, but if your basket is heavy you'll want to pick it up from the bottom.
We have a reading nook and some storage space underneath and this fits perfectly in that space. I love that there is a cover so you don't see everything inside the bin. The bin fabric is thick and sturdy and I'm very happy with the quality of this product
I was worried about the fold lines because I think they can sometimes make these kinds of baskets look sloppy. But I was able to get them out with a steamer, and I think an iron on a lower setting could work too.
