Initial thoughts of this product were great. But then I noticed that the molle latch doesn't match typical molle loops, leaving room for it to slide up and down. Also I love how it came with Velcro so you can mount comms and unfold the box, check it and fold up but they gave the soft Velcro only. I usually put the soft Velcro on my phone case for mounting so the rough Velcro would be more appropriate for the case. But the biggest problem is that within 1hr of adjusting, the hinge friction lever broke off, the retaining pin inside bent and the plastic lever came off.

Ultimately, I love the idea behind the product and I'm still keeping mine. Give me some tougher pins and match the mount to common molle and I'll be happy to buy another one.

Its a decent concept. if it had the thickness of a Pelican it would be worth the money. The lock i can see could be opened if something came down on it and it might not be able to hold up to someone taking a swan dive on it. For hiking and outdoor excursions its fine. Airsoft maybe. Combat probably not especially if you have sensitive electronics in it. It will hold a regular phone and a pen but larger Iphone or Samsung with a protective case like an otter box is iffie. I can get it too close on my Note 8 but thats all thats going in there. I i see alot of comments on the k. I have no clue why one would lock it since it would be considered just a protective case. anything of value or security would be not what would go in it since the hole is the size of a small suitcase lock which a lock that small has no cutting security or pick resistance and even if it had a lock you can still pull the hinge pin. I did so took the picture and put it back together even after finding the small parts in about three minutes and you cant tell i was in it. I have no idea of cost of production but if its over 20 i wouldnt get it unless you want to look tacticool.
