We purchased the "Tux" for our 11 month old 10 pound mini labradoodle puppy. We were so excited when we came across this toy because of the positive reviews and the durability guarantee of Westpaw products. Our puppy likes to chew and we have yet to find a toy she can't destroy. A tennis ball will last about 30 minutes. A Kong will last a few days. A stuffed animal doesn't stand a chance. So when we searched for a new toy, we specifically selected the "Tux" because it ranked a 5 out of 5 for chewing durability. We were very excited when we received the "Tux" yesterday. We thought that we finally had a product she could not destroy. So we handed the toy to her and she just smirked at us (CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!). Within 15 minutes, a huge chunk of the toy had been chewed off and we watched in awe and disbelief as this tiny 10 pound labradoodle put a hurting on this "Tux". I attached a link to a picture of the "Tux" after 15 minutes of use and also a picture of our "Mini" Labradoodle. I guess it's back to square one for us. Sigh...

They were not lying when they said this toy was tough and for the most powerful chewers. My 110lb Berner is a gentle giant who loves to chew. She destroys toys and eats ropes in a record amount of time. Even giant Nylabones? Toast with this girl.Reviewed in the United States on 2 August 2017
I was sick of buying $20 toys claiming to be indestructible that she destroyed within a day. So, I set out to find some really tough toys from a great company who stands behind their product and offers a warranty or guarantee on their products. I stumbled upon West Paw and their toy did NOT disappoint. This toy is VERY hard and tough plastic. She can gnaw at it for hours and hours (and she does) and it looks pristine after every chew session. Well worth the pricetag. They also offer a great guarantee and you don't have to ship them back the ruined toy in order to get your replacement - which is awesome, because if I have to pay for the shipping to return it, why even both when I could just buy another toy? This is a big deal to me. I haven't had to get a replacement, and I don't foresee us needing one anytime in the near future, but it is great to know the option is there.
BONUS: you can stuff treats or peanut butter inside! I like to put a few kibble in it, then fill it with chicken or beef broth (low-sodium!) and freeze it for a few hours. I swear this keeps her occupied for HOURS, plus it cools her off in the summer. No promises that it won't be messy, though!
Would 100% recommend! Next toy I buy for her will definitely be another West Paw chew toy.

What a waste of money! Not sure why product this got such rave reviews. There is a reason it doesn't show the backside of the toy. The opening for the treat in this toy is just a shallow large concave on the other side. NOTHING stays in it. It's too shallow. There's no reason for the dog to chew on the knobs because the treats don't GO in THERE. They are just hard knobs. The only thing you can do with this is put peanut butter in the divot and freeze it. The opening is so large that the dogs still get the frozen peanut butter out in about five minutes and they make a mess! REALLY disappointed in this thing. It's sitting in their toy box and they totally ignore it.
