To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I had high expectations for this product but was disappointed by the quality. My saltwater fish will nibble at it at first when placed in the tank but, a minute or two later they will leave it alone. If left in the tank the current breaks it apart and makes a mess in your tank.
Good-quality Nori sheets at a much better price than at the LFS (local fish store). Still more expensive than grocery-store Nori, or bulk Nori. In any case, my tangs gobble it down like candy. The size I purchased, 1 oz (30 g), lasted about three weeks as a main food source for five large herbivorous fish in the tang and rabbitfish families.
My fish really love this seaweed. I am using green and purple and I alternate each day. It took a few days for them to get used to it, but now they wipe out a full sheet of this stuff in a few hours. I cut a sheet up into little squares that are about 1"x4" and I stack them and clip them into a plastic clip with a suction cup. It hangs on the glass as the fish attack it over and over again.
I have a Blue hippo tang for about 8 years and never like seaweed until I have her try this, she goes crazy on this I get a sheet of seaweed and cut it in small pieces dump it to the tank and within minutes she finishes all.
