Purchases a new 75" TCL Roku TV for Christmas. My husband uses wireless hearing headphones in order to hear the TV. IF you use those, no one in the room can hear the TV, it all goes directly into the headphones. We called the company, geek squad etc, but all said it's everyone or one person. I have an old set of computer speakers and thought I needed to upgrade to something louder and better. I found out the hard way they are better than a lot of others out there. I ended up returning 2 sets of speakers because they sucked. The third is not too bad but still, for the money I should have returned those as well. Instead I bought this splitter, mostly so I could plug one set of speakers in and then the other to get a comparison, but now I have 2 subwoofers and 4 speakers all connected together and the sound is actually quite nice.

Just a terrible splitter

I purchased this as an older splitter stopped working for trips with an iPad. As soon as I received this new splitter I tested it out, and it was worse than the one I was trying to replace. Every time the headphones that were plugged in were moved, it crackled, and a bunch of the time they also lost either the right or left ear sound. I switched this out to a known good splitter, and the same headphones worked great. So I plugged them in again, and it kept happening. I returned it immediately. I strongly suggest buying a better quality splitter. This one is worth less than the price you are paying for it.
