To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I purchased this book because I have built three major websites and a number of microsites (WIX) that involve conferences (some big/some small). I want to go beyond website taxonomy and better understand the current thinking around UX/UI. This book had 15 good ratings, though no comments, was brief, and had a good teaser. As an artist, writer, and editor I found this book very difficult to read due to a lack of editing. It is clear a professional editor never marked this up, which makes it pretty hard to get at what might be some good nuggets of info. Sorry to sound cranky, but writing is a discipline, just like building a website.
