Inviting its audience to grow in trust in themselves, the book promises that every end is attached to a new beginning. Its straight talk, pep talk, and confessional tones make its suggestions about relating to one’s self and others vulnerable, wise, and gracious, while the book’s punchy short paragraphs and fragments emphasize points and keep the work moving.
Though recovering from the end of a relationship is difficult, Untangling shows that it’s worth doing.

About the Author
Emma Grace is the author behind the hugely popular series Live in the Details. Following the release of her first book, Courage to Rise, in December 2018, Emma has risen in popularity, with millions flocking weekly to Instagram and Facebook to read her words. Known as the author who finds words to talk about the things that are hardest to talk about, Emma brings the conversational tone of a good friend to the wisdom of an old one. She writes about life, love, growth, and the full spectrum of things in-between. Her words capture readers where they are and walk them, gently, through the hugely complicated kaleidoscope of experiences that are this life. Emma’s words are raw, real, and honest. Her stream of consciousness style captures in a simple, yet beautiful way, all the things that people see, feel, and are. She is a believer in taking risks, in trusting, and in that everything happens for a reason. But mostly― in big love and the power of one person to change their little corner of this world. So, as long as she has breath in her lungs― that is what she will found doing. Originally from the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, Emma now lives in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, with a busy consulting career alongside her writing.

Not a self care book but a should lifting one20 September 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
I felt ever word in my soul. every. single. word. This book changed my perspective on losing a relationship and finding myself. Made me believe there is hope in this world of 7 billion people. I cannot recommend the heart and soul in this book to those feeling alone, going through a break up or life changing transition in their life. Self care is choosing not to argue with people who are committed to misunderstanding you. This book breathes self care and self love even in the toughest of times. Thank you Emma for your words that have given new and honest meaning in my relationship with myself and my future.

I absolutely loved this book! This book left me reflecting on all kinds of endings in my life and she helped me understand them just a bit more. The vulnerability and rawness within this book made it feel like I was having a conversation with my best friend. Whether you are going through a breakup, a friendship breakup, the ending of a marriage, or really just any ending at all, you HAVE to read this book. It helped me so much!

Excellent book for anyone that has gone through, or is currently going through, a tough breakup. It's so relatable and real! There are so many quotes from the book that you will want to repeat to yourself from time-to-time as a reminder that you will be ok :)
