Image quality is appalling; no amount of adjustments led to proper bright, color and saturation. Note that I'm not a gamer; I'm using it for WFH.

I learned that TN panels such as the one used in this product are the worst in these terms, and also on viewing angles. They're only good in terms of price and response times. On the other hand, IPS panels seem to provide the best color and viewing angles, whereas VA panels seem to provide the best contrast and image depth (but apparently quite expensive).

I'm unable to comment on this product as a gamer. But if you're looking for a cheap monitor to WFH, find something else. I've been using this monitor for a few weeks now. I replaced my 20" ASUS Eye-care monitor with this 24" model (aging eyes!). My smaller one had speakers, eye-care, full HD, and I wanted those items at a minimum in the next monitor. I didn't need all the "gaming" benefits, but I'm not sorry I have them! However, I can't review this monitor from a gamer's perspective.

What I can say is this is an excellent monitor! It has speakers (*BE SURE TO GO INTO THE MONITOR'S SETTINGS AND PUT THE VOLUME TO 100%. IT'S SET TO 50% BY DEFAULT - using only the computer/laptop volume controls will have people complaining about "the puny speakers"). The stereo speakers are 1.5 watt, and they are plenty loud enough for me, and I do a lot of streaming. Again, gamers may want to plug in auxiliary speakers for really loud sound effects, but the average user won't need that.

The stand is sturdy and is height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustable (full horizontal or vertical). It can also be converted to VESA is you want to mount it. It comes with HDMI, RCA audio, and USB cables, and the stand has a "cable management" slot at the back.

Re: HDMI cable not fitting -- I used the one I had been using on my other Asus monitor, and it fits perfectly without any difficulty. I have not tried the cable that came with the monitor.

This is a quality monitor at a very fair price! I highly recommend it!

First things first, if given a selection of monitors, I'm sure this would not be at the top of anyone's list. With its prominent bezels, 75Hz refresh rate and 24" size, it does not excel at any one thing. That said, it performs admirably on all fronts. it's not too heavy and doesn't not look clunky. The display is crisp and I haven't had any issues. And the screen size is great for a desk monitor; it doesn't occupy too much space but provides enough visual area to really help with both work and play.

Note that the default brightness is off-putting, so you'll have to adjust it (in some mode besides "Standard"). It also has different modes depending on what you are using the monitor for, reading, night, to name a couple. For the price point, this is a great deal for an all-in-one monitor.

Great if you need the screen zoomed in or "blown up" (but I needed higher resolution)

The monitor itself if great for a 1920x1080. Beware that this combination or size 27" and resolution 1920x1080 doesn't provide for extra space in your screen, it just makes everything bigger. On this monitor everything looks big and blown up, zoomed in, because it does not support resolution higher than 1920x1080, which is not the monitor's fault, that is how it was built.

If you are looking for "screen space" to have several windows open, and sharper images get one with higher resolution. For anything over 24" screen, you'll probably want higher resolutions such as 2560x1440 (this sufficed my needs) or 3840x2160 (this was too much for a 27" in my opinion).
