Used twice so far. Bought it for hiking. The leg strap came loose continuously and pulled the bag downward as I moved, extremely uncomfortable. Tightening it did not help - it loosened again. Solution - remove the leg strap (thank goodness they made it removable - otherwise I would have had to cut it off). The bag still stays pretty much put at my side, or slightly onto the front of my hip.
Love the fact that there is extra flat material ABOVE the top pocket. This means that if I put it on an angle across my hips, that it can be worn UNDERNEATH a backpack hip belt without being on top of the uppermost pocket and without uncomfortable lumps.
Second drawback - zippers are not smooth which means I need two hands - one to hold the bag and the other to pull the zipper against the resistance.
More good stuff - I was able to fit a phone, a large battery brick, a folding brush, lipstick, hand warmers, trail maps, with room left over for tons more. I was able to attach a bandana hanging off the front loop using a carabiner.
Bottom line - I have been searching for a hip bag with wide, vertical pockets, to be worn specifically on my left hip for years. Have tried and returned 3 before this. If it holds up, this is the one!
