I'm giving 5 stars for the content. As for the quality of the printing, I really didn't like the paper quality.

The shrink wrap of the book ends at the top right hand corner, which causes the front cover top right corner to become dented. Amazon replaced the book for me but this dent issue was the same, only that the dent was slightly less apparent. So I figured, every other copy would have the same flaw. If you cannot accept such a dent, don't buy.

In my replacement copy, the front cover had a light grey ink wash swipe on the front cover and a red ink swash at the bottom. Probably due to the poor quality paper and the ink bleeding from the copy placed directly on top of it before going through the shrink wrap process. Fortunately, they could be erased with a rubber, but I'm not sure if this works for other cases. I was very, very disappointed that a book with such rich content would have such issues with paper quality.

The recipes are not easy to follow, so I don't recommend this to those looking for quick and easy kueh recipes. Many of them require you to prepare a mix of ingredients and leave to rest for hours/days. Not my thing, but I gained a greater appreciation of the hardwork and effort that goes into making delicious kueh.
