I have one other Wyze Camera product and I'm happy with both so far.
The only thing i wish is that the doorbell had a Memory Card Slot like their other cameras, then it would be Perfect.

It was easy to install, has instructions in the box and you can to scan for additional instructions in the App/online. They also have videos online that walk you through each step, and i found that to be the most useful/helpful.

So far so good, detects when people approach with customizable "zones" that you can easily create. You can set the motion sensitivity level and set up notifications however you like. I had no problems connecting it to my network and the app (keep on mind it can't use 5G networks).

Without the subscription, this is completely usable but has limits for how much/often it records. It still saves events you can go back and review later if you have that selected, but i believe it is limited to 10-15 seconds every 5 minutes? You can connect and view live remotely anytime for unlimited time. I don't think it has a ton of built-in storage but i hadn't filled it up yet.

Overall this is the best for the price, especially if you don't want to pay for a subscription. If you are willing to spend much more up front but have full-features without a subscription then buy a Eufy. Personally i would avoid Ring.

Seriously, I should be a paid spokesperson for Wyze -- I ordered this device to replace a less-than-desirable Arlo doorbell. As with the other two Wyze devices I have, I cannot say enough about the quality and ease of setup and operation. Installing this was super simple - two screws and two connections, then plug in the chime. The only annoyance (of sorts) is the updating of Firmware, but better to have that than not. The picture quality is excellent, the night vision is super clear, and the motion alerts are functional. The great thing about this is that it works right away via the Wyze App. Just add and name. One app for all cameras and the notifications were immediate, instead of delayed (sometimes by hours) like the previous product I tried. We have the app on multiple devices, and all get notifications properly. Both my wife and I can be in the App at the same time, too! Seriously, I can't say enough about how well these products are. I own two others and both were equally easy to install and configure.

The installation of this was a breeze! Basically, remove your old doorbell, wire this doorbell to your original doorbell wiring, wire a fuse to your doorbell chime connections inside the house, done!

Obviously, follow the actual steps that Wyze has for installation, but installing this was definitely simple if you're installing this where you're current doorbell is located. In the Wyze app, when you select "add new device", you can select this doorbell for setup, and it will then guide you through the entire setup process for installing, and also for connecting the doorbell to the app.

Once I installed the doorbell, and set it up with the app, it worked great for the first 24 hours or so until going offline. Pressing the doorbell manually didn't work either. Resetting the wi-fi didn't fix the doorbell, but resetting power to the device (flipping the breaker for the doorbell power) DID work! After a few days of flipping the breaker whenever it went offline, I found a fix for this issue. Using a toggle switch in-line with the fuse at the doorbell chime (inside the house), I was able to toggle the device off/on without having to reset the breaker to the doorbell. After using this toggle switch to reset the device a few nights in a row (after it would go offline), it stopped having this issue entirely. I probably could have contacted their support and figured out a different fix for the issue, but this worked for me.

After fixing the issue I mentioned above, this doorbell has been working great! I really enjoy the video quality, and the Wyze app is smooth, and easy to use. The doorbell chime is loud, and has different sound options, which I think is a nice feature as well!

Overall, for the price compared to other video doorbell systems, this Wyze doorbell seems to be a great buy! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay under the price of some of the other competitors out there.

Good door bell. Works as expected. Video quality is ok. The Speaker for two-talking is absolutely bad, you can bearly make anything out talking to anyone using the app install on my cell phone .
Installation was relatively easy seen that it was DIY project. You can get a plug-in power adapter if you have a power outlet near by, I used a Wasserstein Power Supply Adapter so far with no issues.
The chime that comes with the doorbell works, but if you change the default chime sound on the chime it doesn't change the sound on the door bell it self, which means that it can not be changed.

1. The connector screws for your power cables are so shallow I was not able to use my existing copper wires; the screws simply would not tighten. I used the flat/fork connectors provided by them and they barely fit and they are pretty flimsy. I ended up using longer screws from my existing door bell; they are about twice as long and they worked well
2. The install back plate is very thin plastic and not strong. If someone pulled the unit it would probably get pulled right off. Also once you click your unit onto the back plate I am not sure if there is a way to uninstall it other than breaking it off. You better get it right the first time; level it first.
3. My existing door bell was sideways as the siding on the house is also sideways therefore, it was not ideal to install this doorbell vertically. There is no way to install the doorbell sideways as you are not able to rotate the picture digitally; also your picture ratio does not work well if you install it sideways.
4. Picture quality is excellent; wish the unit would take a memory card; I am not a fan of extra paid service for cloud viewing extended video.
