Was very simple to connect to the computer and attach on my front wheel and crack arm. The instructions in the easy start guide helped me do that. Now i'm just waiting to see when the battery goes flat and hopefully it'll be easy to change batteries too.
I'm actually glad the speed sensor failed after two 45 minute turbo sessions because it allowed me to see how diabolical the build quality is. There's no doubting that before the failure I was absolutely delighted with the performance of both sensors. Easy to install and worked a dream with the Sufferfest app. I was really annoyed to find the speed sensor conked out after two short rides. I thought ok, not the end of the world, it might just be the battery. I still don't know if that's the case as I couldn't remove the cover. Despite following the instructions, all that happened was the flimsy plastic was damaged. So badly that I gave up. There's no way I'd buy these again. I've sent them back for a refund and bought Garmin instead.
Got these for my spin bike to link up to the peloton digital app. I put the cadence sensor on the pedal, the speed sensor on the flywheel, opened the peloton app and was able to connect the cadence sensor right away (they don’t offer the speed option). I also was able to add both sensors to the wahoo app very easily. I compared both readings to my current speed and cadence sensor that isn’t Bluetooth compatible (that’s why the upgrade) and both readings were very close to each other. I’d also like to add this got delivered in less that 18 hrs from the time of order - amazing!
I’m a big fat fatty of man- wash myself with a rag on a stick, local takeaways Know me by name, eat butter out the tub, the lot. Bought these to use Zwift on my iPad and loose the chub, and it’s working, I’m shedding pounds like crazy. £12.99 a month to be precise for the Zwift subscription.
This is the second set I have purchased, the first was sold with the Wahoo Elemnt as a package and then when I bought a new gps system for the bike I went straight for the Wahoo sensors. Very easy to fit to the bike, not much mor to say about that. Now using a Hammerhead Karoo 2 GPS unit and as soon a I hit pair sensors, the Wahoo speed and cadence sensors are picked up and have, as expected performed faultlessly. No dropouts, no unexpected spikes, just reporting what was happening. There are cheaper alternatives but you do tend to get what you pay for and I’m VERY happy with Wahoo!
Bought these for use on my turbo bike. I had jerry-rigged a bike computer to work from my back wheel, but the wire was only long enough to allow me to fix it halfway up my crossbar-it was rubbish. Out of the box they look good. The rubber housings are nice, and very easy to fit to the bike with the stretchy fixing bands and cable ties. I downloaded the Wahoo Fitness app and the units paired with it immediately. The speed and distance readings were very close to the bike computer (which I had left in situ for comparison). I also manually counted my cadence against a stopwatch, and that was also accurate. I cannot comment on their longevity as I have only used them a dozen times. I have not used them outdoors and don't intend to. Up to now, full marks and highly recommended.
Before buying this product I read the reviews and because there were only a few that said it had problems connecting I bought it regardless. The cadence sensor as practical as it is to install with various option is useless anyway or so I thought as there is a method to attach it to your shoe. I used this method to start. The sensor connected to my phone and the Wahoo app but didn't register cadence when I rode. When I search for post ride information it showed intermittent information as if it picked up movement on occasion while on the ride. So, rubbish in, rubbish out as far as the data is concerned.
I then tried it to attach it to the peddle crank and this seems to work. So, my advice is that it works on the peddle crank arm only and worth it if you are happy with that. It's a generally recommended way to use cadence devices anyway but if you were thinking of putting on your shoe good luck.
