Wee Sprout went above and beyond to provide great customer service following my review. While I was unhappy with the original product because of the incident described below, they reached out to me and refunded me without asking. They also provided a new set of jars and sent new products to try out along with a handwritten note. It’s refreshing to use a product from a company that actually cares. I do think it’s important for parents to hear of any dangerous incidents regarding products for their kids so I’ll keep the original 1-star review posted below but their customer service earns 5 stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: With such raving reviews, I bought the glass jars without hesitation. They’re supposed to be microwaveable but just 25 seconds in the microwave, I heard a crack sound. The jar, however, looked intact. So I began stirring the purée, only to have the entire bottom part of the jar fall off and splatter food everywhere. Everywhere. Glass shards mixed with food fell all over the floor. Needless to say, this was not fun to clean up. I’ve only had these jars for two months. Hoping the rest hold up better.
