1.0 out of 5 stars HOLE - 100 miles, less than 2 months in
Reviewed in the United States on 9 May 2018
Great brand - perhaps this one is defective out of my two pairs? Will my other pair get a hole next?

Purchased March 12, 2018 and worn on the Appalachian Trail, 100 miles from Amicolola to Winding Stair Gap... rotated with one other pair, every other day. Hole on right toe, above the toe nail. Hand washed and dried on the trail. Washed four times on zero days, as per directions - inside out, warm water, low heat dry.

My family loves Wigwam brand socks, especially the mid-weight hiking socks with higher Merino wool content. I bought these thinner ones thinking they would work better for my less padded needs.

Will likely pursue lifetime warranty paperwork and cross my fingers this was just a bad pair! Not cool to have to replace while on the trail with more expensive outfitter prices.
