I bought this organizer on the advice of wirecutter and am shocked at the poor quality given their recommendation.

*I used the magnet feature to attach on my big metal front door. Magnet is weak. Two (2!) keys on a simple, circular keychain ring would drag this wall organizer down the door in 5 minnutes. Forget about using the magnet to hold in place.

*Since it kept sliding down the door, figured I would use the screw in feature for the wall. Before I could get to installing the wood piece of the organizer just fell off, came right off the metal key holder when i picked it up.

Piece of junk.

Yes the size is small but the look and price are great. My big question purchasing was if there was a non magnet way to install. There are 2 holes for a screw/wall mount option.

So first, let me say, it was smaller than expected. I expected it to be roughly the length of an average envelope but it is about 2/3rds that size. It comes with a sticky magnet back or you can use nails or screw to mount it to the wall. The sticky tape on the magnet is not very sticky at all and fell of my smooth wall after hanging my keys. So I used my own sticky tape and it held just fine. It does look very nice and sleek and is very simple and easy to mount on your wall.

I had this idea to help clear the surface where we drop our keys, wallets, etc. right inside the front door. So I bought YAMAZAKI Wall Organizer. Then my wife suggested that it also be used for charging cables. Genius! So I put my bus pass and key card for work in the tray and hang my one set of keys and several chargers below.

Installation took less than five minutes with a level and tape measure. The magnetic installation option is genius, but the side of our refrigerator is a high traffic area over a kitchen counter, so we had no use for the magnet. Any how nails are provided with the organizer.

In an upstairs hall next to some dressers, I put the second one for her use. Like me, she uses it every day -- rather than using a box where the charger cords get tangled.

this is a fantastic organizer for the day. I have this by my door I put my keys on it immediately and throw the bills and whatever needs to be tackled the next day in the pocket at the top. keeps me organized and its easy to use.
it has a large magnet with a sticky side which did not work well for me. I guess my keys are too heavy and the receptacle was filled a bit too much with bills. The whole thing just popped off the wall. I fixed it with screws which is an option so its all good now. I love it.
