I ordered these hooks for my bathroom as I didn't want to drill into my tile walls. I had issues with the hooks adhering for prolonged periods and contacted the company. They responded promptly with instructions. I still had an issue with one of the hooks which actually came apart into pieces, and upon leaving an unsatisfactory review, the firm contacted me and troubleshot the issue. When it was apparent that the part was not functioning properly, they insisted on replacing the order, so I received two new hooks which work beautifully. I am very please that they were so diligent in fixing my issue and keeping their customer happy. Thank you.

It works, and instructions are clear enough. The internal thread mechanism used to draw up the suction cup, is plastic. What you see as stainless steel, is merely a facade/outer shell. It's all plastic inside except for the hook/nub. It works, tho I haven't tested for strength yet. The main thing for me is, out of the 7 product pictures posted by the seller, there are two that show an etched branding/label on the outer surface of the base, "Yohom". The other 5 pictures do not show this branding element. The package I received, has this branding. I personally find this distracting from the otherwise simple/elegant design. Due to this, I'd probably choose a different vendor selling the same thing, but without the branding.

I've tried NUMEROUS suction products to use for towels on a glass shower enclosure. This is THE ONLY ONE that worked for any length of time. When I moved into my house 5 years ago, the previous owner left me a suction towel bar that to this day is still holding strong! I've asked him where he bought it but he couldn't remember and I couldn't see any brand name anywhere on it. Eventually I used a magnifying glass and found the brand in tiny letters barely etched into the side of the suction part. It was this brand. I searched high and low before I finally found it here on Amazon. I ordered two of the YOHOM 2Pcs SUS 304 Stainless Steel Vacuum Suction Cup Hooks Shower Holders to hang additional items than just on the towel bar I had. These hooks take up less room than the towel bar and they hold just as well as the shower bar. I hang extra towels, bathrobes, pool towels, oversized towels .. all with no problem. On a smooth surface like glass, they hold like crazy - they won't come off until you take them off. They will not hold on surfaces that are not smooth like natural stone, or too small to make a tight seal, like small shower tiles. I HIGHLY recommend this product for smooth surfaces.

Not "suction", but still good

The only thing that was not as advertised is how it adheres to the wall. It is definitely not a "suction" application. There is a clear protective film that you remove, which reveals a sticky surface. I stuck it to the wall, and when I was unhappy with the placement, I was able to remove it and the surface was clean. It seems to be semi-movable, but just putting the disclaimer out there that it does not adhere with suction alone.
Other than that, I love these in my new shower! Beautiful brushed nickle, minimalist design, perfect for our body poufs. I am very happy with my purchase.
As a side note, I have acrylic shower walls that are completely flat, with no grooves or tiles.

We recently remodeled our bathroom and were planning on drilling holes through the tile to add hooks. I got the Yohom stainless steel vacuum hooks to determine where we would put these other permanent hooks. Well the Yohom hooks look so nice and stick so well, they are the new permanent hooks (until I change my mind as to where they go--which I can do!)
