    This fits your .
  • Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
  • Drastically increase your probability of survival at sea with the multiple built-in redundancies of the GlobalFIX marine distress EPIRB. Upon activation, the GlobalFIX V4's robust internal GPS accurately fixes your exact location and broadcasts them via a powerful 406 MHz distress signal to Search and Rescue forces worldwide.
  • This EPIRB is pre-programmed for registration with Singapore country code and must be registered to a vessel with a Singapore MMSI number. Whilst it will function anywhere around the world, the initial point of contact during an emergency situation would be Singapore Search and Rescue authorities with whom the PLB would be registered.
  • If you require registration outside of Singapore, please purchase our alternative listing for ˜Programmed for Rest of World'. We include at no charge a reprogramming service on this alternative listing to ensure the device can be registered in the country of your choice. Please be aware that the EPIRB must be registered in the same country as the MMSI registered to the vessel. Please note this EPIRB is not suitable for registration or use in Australia and New Zealand
  • Registering your EPIRB is mandatory in most countries. Registering is very important because should your beacon ever be activated, it is how Search and Rescue Teams will know who you are, and contacts provided may be able to supply information about your specific travel plans. In the absence of this information, it may take longer for a search-and-rescue operation to begin.
  • This EPIRB should only be used in situations of grave and imminent danger to life. False alerts endanger lives and cause expensive disruption to Search and Rescue services. Deliberate misuse of the device could result in a penalty.

Product description

Drastically increase your probability of survival at sea with the multiple built-in redundancies of the GlobalFIX V4 marine distress EPIRB. Upon activation, the GlobalFIX V4's robust internal GPS accurately fixes your exact location. Your coordinates are then broadcast via a powerful 406 MHz distress signal to Search and Rescue forces worldwide. In the absence of GPS data, orbiting Cospas-Sarsat satellites can accurately triangulate your position using the 406 MHz signal alone.

A 121.5 MHz homing signal further guides searchers to your exact position. The GlobalFIX V4 is a full-featured EPIRB loaded with high-efficiency electronics for performance you can count on, including an internal 66 channel GPS for faster acquisition from a cold start. A protective keypad cover helps prevent false activation, and the all-new, user-replaceable battery pack has a 10-year replacement interval - reducing the overall ownership cost and making replacement a breeze.

Registering your EPIRB is mandatory in most countries. Registering is very important because should your beacon ever be activated, it is how Search and Rescue Teams will know who you are, and contacts provided may be able to supply information about your specific travel plans. In the absence of this information, it may take longer for a search-and-rescue operation to begin.

Please note that this EPIRB must be registered in same country as the MMSI registered to your vessel. For Singapore registered vessels, please choose our 'Programmed for Singapore listing. For registration outside Singapore, please chose our ˜Programmed for Rest of World' listing and advise us of your required country of registration after purchase so we can program the device for you.

Please note this EPIRB is not suitable for registration or use in Australia and New Zealand.
