Lu Rou Fan

Braised pork rice (lu rou fan)

Ingredients:

  • Meat Affair Chilled Pork Belly, 500g (2 packets)
  • Unpeeled Garlic – 10 Cloves
  • Fried Shallot – 5 Teaspoon
  • Rock Sugar – 30g
  • Corn Flour – 3 Tablespoon
  • Light Soy Sauce – 2 Tablespoon
  • Dark Soy Sauce – 2 Tablespoon
  • Fish Sauce – 2 Tablespoon

Directions:

  1. Dice pork belly.

  2. Stir Fry diced pork belly in pan until it is cooked.

  3. Add in fried shallot, garlic, rock sugar, dark soya sauce, light soya sauce, fish sauce and water.

  4. Bring to boil.

  5. Once boiled, lower the heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes.

  6. Add corn flour mixture to thicken the meat sauce.

  7. Pour the meat sauce over a bowl of rice.
