Buddha jump over the wall

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Buddha Jump Over the Wall Spices
  • 6 bowls of water (1500ml)
  • 1kg Chinese cabbage (wongbok) (sliced)
  • 600g white radish (rolling cut & blanched)
  • 200g broccoli (blanched & cut)
  • 50g fish maw (blanched & sliced)
  • 10pcs mushroom (soften)
  • 10pcs prawn
  • 10pcs dried scallop
  • 10pcs abalone
  • 10g black moss (soften)
  • 500g sea cucumber (soften), optional

Directions:

  1. Place Chinese cabbage and white radish at the base of the pot.

  2. Add in water & place Buddha Jump Over the Wall Spices in the middle of the pot.

  3. Add in fish maw.

  4. Place sea cucumber (optional), prawn, dried scallop, abalone and mushroom into the pot in sequence.

  5. Brush over mushroom with ½ tablespoon cooking oil.

  6. Once boiled, simmer on low heat for 60 mins.

  7. Add in boiled broccoli and black moss and its ready to serve. The perfect dish for family reunion and gathering.
