What is Amazon Fresh?

Amazon Fresh is a benefit of Amazon Prime that allows members to place orders for grocery and local favourite items with ultra-fast delivery, available on Amazon.sg and the Amazon app.

What qualifies for FREE delivery?

Amazon Fresh orders of S$60 or above qualify for FREE 2-hour delivery. For orders under S$60, a S$5.99 delivery fee is applicable for 2-hour delivery. Once your order is placed you’ll receive tracking updates in the app and via text message.

Is the minimum order value for FREE delivery different for Amazon Fresh and other Amazon.sg items?

Similar to what’s available on the Amazon Prime Now app, you enjoy FREE 2-hour delivery on thousands of eligible items including groceries and household items on Amazon Fresh, for orders above S$60.

For other items on Amazon.sg that are fulfilled by Amazon, FREE delivery is applicable on orders of S$40 and above.

Do I need to pay or join any membership to use this service?

Amazon Fresh is a benefit of Amazon Prime. With Amazon Prime, you can browse the Amazon Fresh selection and place orders for your grocery and local favourite items with ultra-fast delivery, through the Amazon.sg website and app.

Can I pay additional delivery charges and order Amazon Fresh items without a membership?

Amazon Fresh is a benefit of Amazon Prime. Only Amazon Prime members are able to shop on Amazon Fresh. As an Amazon Prime member, apart from being able to shop on Amazon Fresh with free 2-hour delivery for orders over S$60, you enjoy many other benefits.

Where and when can I receive an Amazon Fresh delivery?

We deliver Amazon Fresh orders between 07:00 AM and 12:00 midnight on most days of the week, in all of our delivery areas across Singapore. Delivery slots will be offered during the following times:

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 midnight
  • Monday to Friday: 07:00 AM to 12:00 midnight
  • Saturday: 07:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Depending on the postal code of your delivery address, you may either see even-hour 2-hour slots (e.g., 2-4pm) or odd-hour 2-hour slots (e.g., 1-3pm) for delivery. Please see the checkout page on Amazon Fresh for the most updated delivery window availability.

Important: As we work to fulfill customer orders, Amazon and its carriers are following guidance from public health officials. In some instances this may impact where, when, and how packages can be delivered:

All items sold through Amazon Fresh will now be delivered via unattended delivery. An option will be displayed during checkout for delivery instructions, where you can specify a safe location within your premises for the order to be delivered.

At the time of delivery, our delivery associate will leave the package at the specified safe location within your premises or by the front door/gate. You will receive an email or SMS notification once the order has been delivered. Remember to chill any perishable items immediately upon delivery.

Why do I have to place separate orders for Amazon Fresh and other Amazon.sg items? Can I get a single delivery?

Amazon Fresh items are available for 2-hour same day delivery, while for Amazon.sg items, the fastest delivery speed available is one-day delivery.

Due to the differences in delivery speed, if you've selected Amazon Fresh items as well as other items on Amazon.sg, two separate carts will be created and you'll need to check out separately for each cart. Two separate orders are created to help deliver items faster, and you'll receive separate order confirmations for each order.

What happens if I want to change, cancel, or add items to my order after I've placed the order?

You may add items to your Amazon Fresh order or cancel your order at any point until your order enters the fulfilment process. Visit our Help pages for guidance on how to add items to an upcoming order or cancel an order.

Note: It’s not possible to cancel individual items, change the delivery time, delivery address, or other order details after an order has been placed. Instead, if the order hasn’t entered the delivery process, it may be possible to cancel the order and place a new one.

How are the items packaged? How long will the items remain fresh/ at its proper temperature in its packaging?

Amazon Fresh packaging works with our delivery system to keep products at their proper temperatures and maintain the quality of your groceries until the end of your delivery window. We use a variety of coolant and packaging options, and are always looking for ways to improve and update the packaging experience. We carefully control the conditions in which we store and transport your products from the moment they arrive at our fulfilment centres to the moment you receive them. Please unpack your groceries as soon as possible to keep them fresh.

Can I return my Amazon Fresh order if it is not as expected or no longer needed?

Eligible Amazon Fresh orders can be returned within 15 days of delivery. Where available, you can choose to receive a refund for your order to your original payment method, or as an Amazon.sg Gift Card. Refer to our Returns policy for more information.

Will my Prime Now orders reflect in Amazon.sg?

Your Prime Now orders will be reflected on the Amazon.sg Your Orders page. These orders will state “Purchased on Prime Now”. If you need to take any action on your Prime Now orders, please visit Your Orders on the Prime Now app.

Can I still use Prime Now to shop groceries?

Prime Now is becoming Amazon Fresh, but will continue to remain available for a limited time.

Prime members can shop on Amazon Fresh to enjoy the same convenience of Prime Now ultra-fast delivery, FREE 2-hour delivery for orders above S$60, and deals on the products you love, along with a number of additional features.

Why should I shop on Amazon Fresh instead of Prime Now?

Amazon Fresh is a new and improved version of Amazon Prime Now. With Amazon Fresh, Prime members can enjoy the same convenience of ultra-fast delivery and deals on the products you love along with a number of additional features including greater selection, the ability to shop on desktop with Amazon.sg, extended delivery window visibility up to two days, the ability to pay using Amazon.sg gift cards, the ability to add items to upcoming orders, and return eligible items using prepaid return labels for up to 15 days from the date of delivery.

Will all Prime Now items be available on Amazon Fresh?

Items sold on Prime Now will be available for purchase on Amazon Fresh subject to stock availability. Amazon Fresh offers a greater selection with tens of thousands of products including quality fresh food, local favourites, and trusted national brands. Can I use my Prime Now promotional credits to place an Amazon Fresh order?

Prime Now promotional credits issued for Singapore Prime Now orders can only be used for purchases on the Singapore Prime Now app.

Promotional credits issued on Amazon.sg can be used to place Amazon Fresh orders.

Where can I get help (cancel, track, return, etc.) with my Prime Now order?

Prime Now order details can be viewed on the Your Order page on Amazon.sg or on the Prime Now app. To take any action on the order, please visit the Prime Now app.
