Another excellent update in this series. Very clear and concise explanations of the market and great analysis of charts. I would highly recommend this book and the websites that are also run by William O'Neil.
Who said this book is "good''and" nice"!!! They are mistaken greatly! This book is BRILLIANT and the ideas presented therein are priceless and awesome.... 😁 Great book on investment... Second perhaps only to Graham's The Intelligent Investor. Hats off to the author...
So happy to have this book in my journey as an investor.
O by the way, the packaging and delivery by amazon is brilliant too. Arrived 1 day earlier👍thank you amazon team.
O'Neil's book is a blend of Tecnicals and funamental research. Simple patterns lined up with good fundamentals and then ride the trend. Easy to read. It is also an ad for his daily newspaper, which if you like O'Neil you may want to check it out. Reminds me of Nicolas Darvas use of "Technofundamentals".
If you want to learn gambling and be Upsold to their paid memberships, newspaper and courses on Investors.com (Investor Business Daily) then this book is for you.
After reading this book you will understand what Warren Buffet, John Bogle and other Value Investors called "Speculating" aka Gambling in the stock market.
You will learn all the gambling techniques while being upsold what their paid membership website, newspapers and courses can do for you.
Also there are a lot of charts and examples in this book, yet they seem to leave out data/examples that goes against their theories. This books also admits losing money on picking bad stocks because "The stock was not acting right."
At the end of the day do you want "fast money" like the street corner dope dealer (Gamblers) or slow wealth like the big pharmaceutical companies(Value investors)? Their are no billionaire dope dealers/gamblers, but their are many billionaire/billion dollar pharmaceutical companies and Value investors.
This is a masterpiece written by the Grand Master of stock trading. Many books written about the markets promise much but deliver little substance. This book is packed with actionable advice and after reading it cover to cover should be used as a reference manual.
