It's simple to understand, has some encouraging anecdotes from clients and lays out your daily menu for the first 20 days. We've been on it now for just over 10 days and I've lost 9lbs while my wife has lost 5lbs. It's all about food choices and what works for you as an individual, not working out like a maniac and starving yourself. This is not a fad, it's a lifestyle choice. Would recommend this book without hesitation.
I have lost 8 lbs in the first week. I have reduce inflammation in all joints, and muscles are not as tense. I have tested food, and got through it. I bought the kindle version as well as the book. Very delicious recipes, as a bonus. Some of the stuff is not what I have had, but what I have was apparently wrong for me. We are all different and will react to foods differently. This process takes the guessing game out of what does not agree with you. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose except weight, and all to gain with no inflammation.
I have been struggling with weight gain, gas and bloating for 10 years now. I suspected there were foods that I shouldn't be eating but could not single them out. This plan is helping me to do exactly that! Plus I've lost 6 lbs in the first 5 days! And my husband has lost 8. I have no bloating and feel so much better. (Still some gas but eating all the veggies will do that!) The only negative so far is that there's a lot of food prep and cooking, which I don't love, but it is worth it to figure out what's not working for me. If you're fed up with gaining weight you can't lose, tried every diet on the planet, feel like crap, then I recommend this plan.
The book has a very realistic and scientifically documented approach on "how human bodies react to food". The author has a lot of practical experience on the concepts presented in the book. This book is not a fantasy, it is a "bible" for someone who wants to be healthy and have a long life, irrespective of how many pounds have to lost in order to look good.
This book has explained a lot about how our bodies react to food and really helps me know exactly how to personalize my diet for my body. I have not been able to get fully into the diet yet due to schedules but have tried a few recipes to try to determine quantities and tastes. So far my husband & I like what we have tried and looking forward to really get into the diet fully next week.
