To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have been following Andreas since I got into crypto, his book Mastering Bitcoin is a masterpiece. This book does not have tech so is easy read for everybody and I would say a great way to get Andrea’s message and his socio-economic-political view of bitcoin, which it totally resonates with me. I gave it 4/5 because I was expecting more details on the economic side of things, i.e. more numbers to support his beautiful thinking process. I already bought the 2nd one so curious how he did there.
Whether you're completely new to the Bitcoin space or you've been in the space for a while, there will be something to learn from this book.
This book is split up brilliantly into talks delivered by Andreas Antonopoulos and each section is delivered in a way for the average reader to make sense of some very complex discussions.
If you're new to bitcoin my advise is don't go and buy bitcoin, first buy books on the space and educate yourself so that when we have our cyclical bubbles you don't take a loss and sell because you're aware just how great the technology you've invested in is.
Have recently decided I need to know more about this new world that's opening up. This is a good place to start. It's a series of lectures that explores what crypto is, how it works and how it applies to daily life.
Andreas Antonopoulos is a god in cryptoland, he's so well educated and an inspiration for us all on money and how it has shifted over the years. A must read for anyone interested in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
This book is an essential read for anyone, who is interested in fundamentals behind the technology of bitcoin. This is not a technical manual, so it is very easy to read and understand for non-techy people. I would say its more philosophical as it helps to grasp the idea, scope and implications of the blockchain technology. Would recommend to everyone who wants to understand what the hell is this thing called Bitcoin/blockchain and why do we need it.
In this compilation of redacted transcripts of his talks, Andreas explains the abstract concepts underpinning bitcoin, cryptocurrency and the blockchain in clear language. This is the first book I would recommend reading to develop intuition for the societal impact this technology will possibly (or likely) have. For a technical treatise on bitcoin, I recommend "Mastering Bitcoin" by the same author.
I Read "The Internet of Money" once so far, definitely deserves a re-read to make the material really sink in.
This book does a great job at showing the positives crypto will have on our lives in the future, its great reading this in 2021 because you can see some future predictions that andreas had thought up unfolding in real time today. There is some repetition during the book because they're talks not a normal written book.
