To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I don't recommend this edition, I have compared this one with the original of 1937. The reviser has deleted several interesting parts and removed essential concepts of what Napolean Hill had carefully reported within his book. As a result, the content of this edition has dramatically changed from the original. if Napolean Hill has been still alive, I don't think he would agree with this fake edition. .
This is book is a study over 20 years of how men accumalte riches. This is the objective, what is needed from a man to accumalte a fortune. The book is written at the begginning of the 20th century, but most of it content still remain true. Important things will never change and human problems are the same since the age of the Roman.
The good point is that the what it says is absolutely true. It is important if what you want is accumalte riches and definitely gives you the keys for that.
The bad point is that even if the concepts are easy to understand, and may seem obvious, they are not obvious at all and are extrmely difficult to assimilate. In this sense, the book turns heavy, repetitive and "boring" to the non-dedicated reader. The reader must open his mind and try to cooperate to understand what author wants to mean. The other bad point is that while the book gives you the keys to make yourself rich, the problem is most people will understand they are not ready to pay the price for these riches.
I will give four stars, because of this lack of structure I mentionned, and lack of smoothness. However, the content is so good, that it makes it must and an exceptional masterpiece in this field.
I am not sure about this book. I speak English, but with this book I need a dictionary. It has a lot (to not say only) of American phrases and meanings and it’s difficult to “follow” the content. It’s an American and not an English book.
I like the idea of the book it has a lot of good theory it has great ideas as into how to improve your life improve your self development and habits but I don't like some of the examples the book gives as they are examples from a really long time ago I found it boring in some ways.
