Bought this for my 2 young kids age 3 +6 to practice at home during the pandemic. My 6 yrs old is ok with the picture since he's older but I find that the ABC of the pictures are a bit complicated for a 3 yrs old. As for the writting it's nothing special and I can actually go online and print some myself. Please give me a helpful vote if you find this review useful
The pictures they use for What A is for etc are not easy pictures for a 4 year old to understand - should be apple, airplane etc - they use difficult words and pictures that can have multiple meanings - if I had known that, I would never have bought this workbook. I would not recommend it ever - don't waste your money
As far as tracing letters this book is good, but for letter recognition and association it is terrible. For examlpe the picture for the letter L is a boat, which they label as a "Liner", for the letter R an airplane labelled "Retro Airplane" for the letter V an old fashioned car labelled "Vintage Car" - the pictures are totally irrelevant and confusing for a preschooler. Almost every picture corresponding to a letter was useless and doesn't help kids to understand the sound of the letters. The construction of the book is nice and the tracing and practice space is fine but really the pictures just cause confusion.
This is so perfect for my son. He has been out of kindergarten for the past 3 months (covid virus). He will be working on books like this, so when he gets into grade 1, he may be in advance of his peers. Thanks!
