I have used this product before on my kids and totally adored it... The smell is wonderful and the condition of their hair is fab so you can imagine my disappointment when I ordered the huge bottle, to start using myself, to find it just doesn't lather! Even after 4 it 5 applications and rinces and reaplication it still doesn't lather .... As a result I am totally waisting and over using the product!

Smells great but not effective as a shampoo

i bought this shampoo because a friend's hair always smelled so great, and I had to get whatever it was she was using. But I wish I had read other reviewers' comments about how this product doesn't lather AT ALL. I realize that most sulfate-free shampoos don't lather like regular shampoos, but this was the worst out of all the sulfate-free shampoos I've used. I have to use a big handful of product just to get it to spread over my scalp. That's how watered-down the shampoo feels. My hair never feels completely clean. The matching conditioner (which does work well) is thicker than the shampoo. Other reviewers claim that the formulation has changed (it used to lather), and if this is the case, I do hope the company will consider changing it back. Otherwise I probably won't repurchase. Too bad, though - it really does smell great.

The smell is nice. As others said, it doesn't get sudsy at all. I have to use 2 full pumps for my toddler's baby thin hair. After washing, her hair is all stuck together and feels hard and straw like. I use another brand of leave-in conditioner to help it feel like real hair again. I bought based on reviews for a good detangling shampoo and it totally misses the mark for me.

Strips my hair of its color. Does not lather well at all and I have to use a lot of it for my hair to feel clean. Will not be buying again, likely won't use the whole bottle. Leaves my hair feeling very dry and gross.

Leaves daughters scalp with a weird smell, sorta like after someone gets a perm initially. Bottles bought locally at the kids salon didn’t have this problem, are these knock offs?!? Dunno for sure but will not buy here again.
